El Jurado de la XII Edición de los "Premios de Arquitectura COACV 2001-2002" reunido durante los días 2, 3 y 4 de abril de 2003, compuesto por los siguientes miembros: —JORDI PIÑOL FONT, Arquitecto. Secretario del COACV, actuando como Secretario del Jurado. Y la Junta de Gobierno del COACV, reunida en Alicante el 15 de Abril de 2003 al objeto de constituirse en Jurado para los apartados F), G) y H), acordaron conceder los siguientes Premios o Menciones: A/ Obras de Arquitectura PREMIO VIVIENDA UNIFAMILIAR EN CULLERA Autores QA Arquitectes Associats, S.L. (Manuel Giménez Ribera, Maite Palomares Figueres, Ricardo Perelló Roso, Marina Sender Contell) Se valora la inteligente organización de los usos en el solar disponible y la selectiva relación de éstos con el exterior, privilegiando las vistas del paisaje de la montaña de Cullera. Resalta también la definición del volumen del edificio y el tratamiento de sus aberturas de fachada, así como la precisión de los materiales y elementos constructivos. PREMIO CLINICA DE FERTILIDAD EN VALENCIA Autores Lola Alonso Vera, Javier García-Solera Vera Se valora la habilidad y eficacia al concentrar en un volumen abstracto el programa de un centro clínico necesitado de privacidad, evitando cualquier relación tipológica y de escala con un entorno urbano hostil, junto con su capacidad para hacer innecesaria una definición formal. TRIBUNA DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN Por su continuada y acertada política editorial de divulgación de la Arquitectura de la Comunidad Valenciana, con contenidos de gran interés, apreciable calidad material y eficaz distribución, que se ha convertido -en poco tiempo- en publicación de referencia. G/ Trayectoria Profesional PREMIO D. MIGUEL PRADES SAFONT Que obtiene el reconocimiento de MESTRE VALENCIÀ D'ARQUITECTURA, por su extensa actividad profesional, en una línea de modernidad e investigación formal que sigue siendo hoy un referente de calidad. Entre su vasta producción destacan las siguientes obras: Edificio de Maderas Clemente en la calle Trinidad de Castellón (1957). Edificio de oficinas en la calle Enmedio de Castellón (1959). Edificio de viviendas en la calle Asensi de Castellón. Edificio de viviendas en la calle Navarra de Castellón (1958). Chalet del doctor Tomás Peña en Benicásim (1962). Edificio Club de Golf en el Grao de Castellón (1961). Apartamentos La Panderola en Benicásim (1965). Apartamentos Acacia en Benicásim. Instituto Social de la Marina en Castellón. En cuanto a su imagen pública, es necesario destacar su dedicación a la vida colegial, habiendo desempeñado los cargos de Presidente del CTA de Castellón de 1975 a 1977, de Vicesecretario del COACV los años 1978 y 1979, ha sido miembro del Tribunal Profesional del COACV y ha participado en el CSI del CTA de Castellón. Secretary of the COACV, as Secretary of the Jury and the Board of the COACV, which met in Alicante on 15 April 2003 to constitute the Jury for sections F), G) and H), have agreed to award the following Prizes and Mentions: A/ Architecture PRIZE HOUSE IN CULLERA QA Arquitectes Associats, S.L. (Manuel Giménez Ribera, Maite Palomares Figueres, Ricardo Perelló Roso, Marina Sender Contell) For its intelligent layout of uses in the available space and their selective relationship with the exterior, highlighting the views of Cullera hill. The definition of the volume and the treatment of openings are also outstanding, as is the precision of the building materials and components. PRIZE FERTILITY CLINIC IN VALENCIA Lola Alonso Vera and Javier García-Solera Vera For skill and efficacy in concentrating the brief for a clinic requiring privacy into an abstract volume that avoids any relation of type or scale with a hostile urban environment and for the ability to make formal definition unnecessary. In his public life, his commitment to collegiate matters has led him to occupy the posts of Chairman of the Castellón CTA [Territorial College of Architects] from 1975 to 1977, Vice-Secretary of the COACV 1978 and 1979, member of the COACV Professional Tribunal and participant in the Castellón CTA’s CSI [Services and Reports Centre].
