Tipología
Las posibilidades climáticas de Elche permiten el crear una casa donde los espacios y recorridos exteriores dominan sobre los interiores, con una gran fluencia dentro/fuera.

Toda la vivienda se organiza siguiendo la alineación del porche que forma un arco solar orientado al Sur que protege las estancias en planta creando una circulación exterior que vincula el jardín de Oeste con las estancias de la planta alta. Esto genera una casa apaisada e imbricada con el terreno de la cual emergen tres volúmenes: biblioteca y dos alas de dormitorios.

Un gran vestíbulo elíptico resuelve el cruce de circulaciones entre la fachada N de acceso, más público y cerrado y la Sur, abierta hacia la piscina. Además segmenta la vivienda en dos áreas claramente diferenciadas estar - comedor/cocina y dormitorios. La configuración espacial se realiza con estancias autoreferenciales y completas, comunicadas por secuencias compresión/expansión.

Las fachadas han sido concebidas con el fin de camuflar la vivienda en el paisaje, tanto por sus trazados orgánicos como por el uso de una piedra cuyo color se mimetiza con el terreno. Además de dar un gran énfasis a las cubiertas como elementos que prolongan la topografía.

El Jardín
Su diseño está íntimamente ligado a la vivienda, unifamiliar y horizontal, aumentando la relación interior-exterior y potenciando los valores paisajísticos propios de la zona y las especies vegetales dominantes en el entorno.

Typology
The climate of Elche provides an opportunity to create a house where the exterior spaces and routes predominate over those in the interior, with a great flowingness of inside/outside.

The distribution of the entire house follows the line of the porch, which forms a south-facing solar arc that shades the ground floor rooms and creates an exterior circulation route that links the west garden and the rooms on the top storey. The result is a horizontal house, lying on the ground, from which three volumes (library and two bedroom wings) emerge.

A large elliptical hall solves the circulation crossroads between the entrance on the north façade, more public and closed, and the south façade, which opens onto the swimming pool. It also divides the house into two clearly differentiated areas: living-dining room/kitchen and bedrooms. The spatial form is made up of complete, self-referential rooms joined by compression/expansion sequences.

The façades are intended to camouflage the building in the landscape through their organic lines and by using a stone of a colour that blends into the ground. Great emphasis is also placed on the roofs as they constitute an extension of the topography.

The garden
Its layout is closely linked to the horizontal single-family house. The interior-exterior relationship is heightened and the main plant species of the neighbourhood and the characteristic landscape values of the area are enhanced.
